Goals: The Goal of this site is to inform the citizens of Clayton County exactly what is taking place in their county on a daily/weekly basis. This will be done by articles, photo's, and video of the bi-monthly council meetings that you do not get to attend.

WE ARE GOING TO KEEP THIS PICTURE BECAUSE THIS IS THE FACE OF YOUR CITY MISSISSIPPI FAT RAT
|
Now I know that you have gotten those bills that say YOU HAVE UNTIL MARCH TO PAY THOSE TAX BILLS THAT
ARE NOT TAX BILLS. Let me put some answers to you from the city's web site that may clarify what we have been
saying all along:
The above information was taken from THE CITY OF RIVERDALE'S WEB SITE. Now Councilman Hall has passed
away since that time but Councilman Scoggins is still around. I want you to ask the FACE OF THE CITY,
MISSISSIPPI FAT RAT if this is TRUE OR NOT? Your PREVARICATING, BUFFOON of a city manager, IRIS JESSIE has
attempted to bamboozle you out of more of your TAX money, on top of THE MONEY SHE HAS ALREADY
MISMANAGED.
For your information Mr. Baskin is the TAX COMMISSIONER of CLAYTON COUNTY.
LOOK AT THIS CITY MANAGER. THE EYES OF A WEASEL.
IN MOST CITIES THE TENURE OF A CITY MANAGER IS THREE TO FIVE YEARS BUT THIS CITY MANAGER HAS
GONE LONG OVER HER SHELF LIFE. SHE NEEDS TO GO. SHE EARNS OVER $130.000.00 MANAGING A CITY THAT IS
LESS THAN 5 MILES SQUARE. SHE CAN SIGN CHECKS FOR OVER $500,000.00. SHE FIRES DEPARTMENTS ( PUBLIC
WORKS) AND BRINGS IN CONTRACT LABOR THAT DOES NOT SAVE MONEY. SHE HOLDS CONCERTS THAT BRING
NOTHING TO THE CITY BUT AN EXTRA EXPENSE. THEY ARE FREE! DO THEY CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR TAX DIGEST?
SHE WASTED YOUR TAX MONEY ON HER BELLY AND THE COUNCIL GOES ALONG WITH IT. LOBSTER, CRAB,
LIQUOR, PLANE FLIGHTS, PUPPY CHOW, CLOTHS, HOTELS FOR THEIR CHILDREN, ALL WITH YOUR TAX MONEY!
Councilmember Scoggins asked if the city of Riverdale voted
on a referendum that required
senior citizens to be exempt from paying sanitation and
property taxes had anything to do with
HB 143. Mr. Basking said no. He said that it is a separate
issue. He said the state awards
$2,000 for Homestead. He said the county gives $8,000 and
citizens receive a total of $10,000.
He said the Homestead Exemption would not go away.
Councilman Scoggins asked Mr. Baskin to confirm that the
only way a referendum could be
overturned is by holding another referendum election.
Mr. Baskin said yes.
Councilman Hall said that the only way to cancel a
referendum is with another referendum so he
does not know why the letter was sent out.
JUST SAY: HELL NO JESSIE MUST GO
